Biography Lama Gendun
Lama Gendun studied Tibetan medicine for more than ten years, he started at the Chagpori Tibetan Medical Institute in Darjeeling in India. In 1996 he graduated in Tibetan medicine (MenpaKachupa Degree) and taught Tibetan medicine in the same institute. He then did his practical internship at CTMI in Tibetan medicine and then studied astrology in Tibet and India, in Dharamsala at the Men TseeKhang Institute of Astrology, specializing in astrology and pharmacopoeia. He studied under the guidance of Dr.Trogawa Rinpoche of whom he was an assistant for several years. He completed his internship under his guidance. Since 2000 he has moved to Europe, Israel, Germany, Austria and Italy where he practices and teaches Tibetan Medicine and participates in the main Tibetan Medicine congresses in Europe and India. He collaborates with the medical faculty in Bersheva, Israel, collaborates with a cancer patient centre, teaching meditations and relaxation techniques.
It treats different types of symptoms, both physical and psychological such as depression, insomnia, panic attacks, stress, anxiety, inflammation, gynecological problems, infertility, arthritis, osteoarthritis, eczema, psoriasis, digestive problems, gastritis, chronic back pain, inflammation in the knees, diabetes and cholesterol, stroke and facial paresis.
